Teaching Style
As I've developed my trumpet playing and musicianship over the years, I've found that working with students has been one of the most fulfilling things I've been able to do. While in my undergrad, I started teaching weekly lessons to students in Brown County, Indiana. This lit a spark in me, and I haven't stopped teaching since! Now, I teach musicians all over New York City both privately and through different community outreach programs at the Manhattan School of Music and the Harmony Program. I aim to guide students through their musical education in the most natural and relaxed way possible, all while giving them a solid foundation so that they're able to properly express themselves through their instrument whilst learning basic-to-advanced level musical concepts.
Knowledge of music theory and music history can be from absolute beginner to advanced, as I have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of music, and am happy to teach them alongside learning your instrument.
Each student will be treated with a high level of respect and understanding. I will do the absolute best that I can to help them develop as a musician, and teach them how to love performing on their instrument while working towards personal musical goals!
If you're insterested in music lessons with me, please go to my Contact Me page, and feel free to leave a message in the box, call me, text me, or email me! Just be sure to leave either your phone number or email in the message so that I can properly get back to you as soon as possible.
*NEW* SPECIAL LESSON+COFFEE PACKAGE:

Studio Pricing & Policies
I want to be able to make the most comfortable and nurturing learning environment possible, so I have some policies set so that everyone is on the same page:
-An initial $30 30 minute meet-and-greet session is encouraged, as it will allow us to get to know each other better while establishing some goals we want to strive for in our lessons.
-Having a dedicated weekly lesson time will be crucial, but I am flexible with my students when there are communicated schedule changes, since I may sometimes need schedule changes as well
-Automated payment plans via square are available and preferred - https://square.link/u/1RRF7b84
-Basic pricing is as follows: $35 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 minutes, and $55 for 60 minutes
-I am available to teach at MSM, in your apartment or home in NYC, or in the surrounding areas of NYC. If there is another location that you are able to receive lessons at withoust noise complaints, please let me know and I will happily work this out with you.
-I am available for teaching on Forte! Here, we can have great quality online lessons, but pricing will vary. Please message me if this insterests you, and we can talk about pricing based on your needs.
-I am available to teach online on Zoom for the same price as my in-person lessons.
-Please be on time! I will always put an immense amount of my effort into being timely, and would like for my students to do the same. If a student is over 15 minutes late, or they are not home when I arrive for 15 minutes, then it will be cancelled for half the cost of the lesson time.
